Being a 15 year old in Bahrain Isa town with a clear vision of being a surgeon is extremely different what now, over a decade down the line, I realised what I really signed up for. A career in surgery is a life long exhausting choice, competitive over a long training period. Yet the gratification at times, is unparalleled.
